# How verification works

You never mark a fix as done. fixvis re-checks your site every day and moves the card to Verified once it sees the change live.

## The life of a fix

1. **Your team ships the change**

Move the card to In progress, then mark it shipped.

2. **It waits for the next re-check**

The card shows “Waiting for re-check”.

3. **fixvis sees it live**

On the next daily scan, the card moves to Verified with the date: “Verified live · 30 Oct”

4. **You get an email**

fixvis emails you when your first fix is verified, and again at 5, 10 and 25 verified fixes.

## The rules fixvis follows

- A fix is verified only if fixvis actually re-checked the page it lives on.
- If a later scan finds the problem again, the issue reopens as **Regressed**, so Verified only holds what is live today.
- Daily re-checks are included on every paid plan and never use your allowance.
